I am fundraising for LA Saves Track, a campaign to help Los Angeles High School’s athletics program. Its aim is to replace LAHS’s dirt track with new facilities, which will help students develop healthier habits and a greater sense of pride, and ultimately create a positive effect in other areas of their lives.

At LAHS, the graduation rate into college is less than 50%, 2/3 of students are eligible for the Federal Title 1 Program, math and reading proficiency levels are at 19% and 41%, and athletic clubs and activities received a C- rating by students and parents.

To help these students, I am asking my friends and family to help hold me accountable on my first ultramarathon journey by donating to this cause, which the Adidas Runners LA Trail Team and I will participate in on January 8, 2022 at the Avalon Benefit 50K Run.
