Alanna's #MijoRuns 100 Mile Quest for Fast Feet
Michael Ortiz, known as Mijo by his close friends, is on a Quest to complete his first 100-mile ultramarathon in under 24 hours on June 19, 2021. Over the past year Michael has undergone intense training that has not only challenged him physically, but also mentally, emotionally and spiritually. For Michael this is an opportunity to lead by example, encouraging people to take on their wildest dreams while accepting and living their truth.
Athletes of all levels, including his pacers, are running in solidarity with Michael by clicking “Join as an Athlete.” Who can finish SECOND on the mileage leaderboard on June 19th?
Every mile will support for Fast Feet New York City, an amazing organization making athletics, nutrition, and social development accessible to children of all backgrounds and abilities.
You can support Michael, or any other runner in this challenge, by pledging any amount for every mile they run on Saturday and Sunday. No fundraising at all required to join, but all proceeds support Fast Feet!
